Vastu for the kitchen: direction and rules

According to Vastu Shastra, the best direction for the kitchen is South-east (alternative: North-west).

Do	Face east while cooking; keep the stove and the water tap apart.
Avoid	Avoid a kitchen in the north-east; don't place the stove right next to the sink.

In a house that is already built, demolition is not needed; cleanliness, light and moving things around fix most issues.
